When visitors arrive at Chemac, and the workday is over, they are often encouraged to experience our local area’s culture and history. This 55 year old tradition of sharing our local area is always enjoyable for any visitors who have time to see the local sights and learn a little about the local history of our locations.
In Texas, a visitor may tour the Battleship “Texas” or visit the battlefield “San Jancinto” where in in less than 20 minutes Sam Houston’s army “secured” the Republic of Texas. The nearby city of Houston and NASA both offer visitors to Texas other sites to enjoy. Chemac’s NJ location also has a large selection for visitors including the NJ iron mines of West Milford, Ringwood Manor, West Point, The Van Steuben House, the submarine museum in Hackensack “USS Ling”, Fort Lee and Manhattan to name a few.
The new location for Chemac Inc in New Bern North Carolina offers visitors new sites and places to learn about. These include the historic city of New Bern, the local civil war sites in and around New Bern and beautiful nearby beaches by Fort Macon. Did you know New Bern is the second oldest city in North Carolina and was once the capital of North Carolina?
Even for seminars, Chemac Inc finds visitors who don’t take a few moments to see the area don’t get the best benefit of a visit. If time allows, taking time to see and learn about the culture is a great part of travel after work is done. At seminars, attendees are always given the opportunity to accompany Chemac on after work learning trips. In Houston, for example, we arranged a trip to NASA and in San Antonio we arranged tours of the Alamo. The tours, combined with 3-4 day seminars, were regarding by attendees as some of the best seminars they had ever attended. Attendees returned to their jobs with new or refreshed technical know-how, new contacts and cultural memoires to last a lifetime.
