New Bern, NC: September 27, 2023
As of September 20, 2023 – the New Bern 2023 MS Ride raised over 1.2 million dollars. Not bad for a town of 30,000 residents, especially when compared to much larger cities. The ride consisted of a 30, 50, 75 and 100 mile route. The event lasted two days from September 9 to 10.
Chemac’s team Captain, Robert Hardin, announced “Chemac raised more per rider than previous years.” On a per rider basis, Chemac’s “Pumped Up Team” was in the top 10 of fundraisers… a milestone achievement.
Unlike last years rainy event, this year the weather was perfect. Our teams youngest was 24 years old and oldest was 73.
