For the summer of 2024, we have welcomed three new interns from the local high school, Jamiana, Cannon, and Reece.
Jamiana is our marketing intern. She has been working on improving our website, creating presentations, and writing articles for Chemac. She's expecting to gain business marketing and operation skills during her time here.
Cannon and Reece are our engineering interns. They have been trained to repair and refurbish high-pressure pumps. They've also been assigned smaller projects around the shop when they're not working on pumps. These two want to leave with hands-on experience working in a "high-pressure" shop.
At Chemac, we have invited students to partake on our team as interns for over 30 years. This is a great opportunity for those enrolled in high school and college to gain experience working in an office or a mechanical shop. So far, our interns are doing great and making progress. We can't wait to see what they will accomplish in the future.
