The US government is poised to bring back much of the pharmaceutical manufacturing lost over many decades of increasing reliability on low-cost foreign production. The administration is planning on incentives for pharma and other manufacturing to return to the USA. Many companies are already planning steps to take advantage of the incentives.
Most customers may not be aware of the depth of Chemac, lnc.'s GATHER production line. GATHER products are often used in the development and manufacturing process of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products. Customers include research institutes, producers, and process plant equipment manufacturers.
In addition to extreme operational conditions (e.g., temperature requirements, dosing accuracy, chemical resistance, etc.), hygiene and cleaning requirements play an important role. Both couplings and pumps comply with hygiene class H3 and are SIP capable (sterilization in place).
