Summer shutdowns keep our workshop busy year-round as smaller pumps and tools can easily be shipped to any of our locations for maintenance, overhaul, or repair. Our shops regularly do in-house maintenance for all types of pumps and tools. For easily shipped items,
the cost of our in-house services can save customers substantial amounts versus on-site repair. In-shop services do not require technician/engineer travel expenses and other costs associated with remote travel. Thus, in-shop repairs require only parts and labor, keeping costs down.
Many customers, without their own in-house maintenance team, arrange for “smaller” equipment to be shipped to one of our service centers for maintenance. If equipment isn’t practical to move, oversized, or heavy, customers order on-site services to help keep their equipment running smoothly.
Equipment like tank cleaning heads, the 700 series Uraca pumps, and smaller centrifugal Bungartz pumps are easy to ship for service. Pumps as large as a KD 629 model have also been shipped for overhaul or service. The durability of the Uraca brand is highlighted by how many aged tools and pumps are still being used and sent for service. For example, some customers’ pumps, purchased in 1965, are still in operation. Even tank cleaning tools, models out of production for over 15-20 years, are still working for customers. The durability of the tools and pumps highlights the long life and return on investment of our primary brands.
